How long does a visa application take?
It depends on the country and visa type. Schengen tourist visas are usually decided within 15 days, or up to 45 days in peak periods. Work and family reunification visas can take from a few weeks to a few months, so we plan your application backwards from your travel date.
What is the 90/180 rule for Schengen visas?
In the Schengen Area you can stay a maximum of 90 days in total within any 180-day period. With multiple-entry visas, every entry and exit counts towards this. We check your travel plans against this rule together.
I can’t find an appointment. What can I do?
In peak periods, visa centre appointments fill up quickly. We get your file ready before the appointment, monitor newly released slots and, where suitable, consider application centres in other cities too.
My visa was refused. Can I apply again?
Yes. A refusal does not prevent you from reapplying, but applying again with the same file usually leads to the same result. We review the refusal reasons and decide together whether to appeal or submit a stronger new application.
How much time do I have to appeal?
The appeal deadline varies by country and is stated in the refusal letter; in most Schengen countries it is between 15 and 30 days. If you miss it, you lose the right to appeal, so we recommend sharing the refusal letter with us on the day you receive it.
What is the difference between a residence permit and a visa?
A visa grants entry to a country and permission to stay for a set period. A residence permit is the document that lets you live in that country long-term and is usually obtained from local authorities after arrival. Work and family reunification visas are mostly converted into residence permits.
What does the consultancy fee cover?
The initial consultation is free. The consultancy fee covers the document checklist, file review, preparation of forms and letters, appointment guidance and tracking of the decision. Official costs such as consular fees, visa centre service charges, translation and insurance are paid separately.
Can we hold consultations online?
Yes. The consultation and file review can be done online; you can send your documents via a secure upload link created just for you and track the status of your file at every stage.
