Unlike a tourist visa, a work visa is a process in which not only you but also your employer and your profession are assessed. Correctly identifying which programme you qualify for determines from the outset the outcome of an application that may take weeks.
What routes are available?
- Work visa with a job offer: the classic application made with employer approval and an employment contract.
- EU Blue Card: a fast-track permit for university graduates with offers above a certain salary threshold.
- Germany Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte): a visa issued on a points system for job seekers.
- Skilled worker and vocational training visas: for applicants with recognised professional qualifications or those starting vocational training.
What do we prepare together?
Diploma and professional qualification recognition applications, compliance of the employment contract with visa requirements, language certificate, health insurance, accommodation and proof of financial means. If your family members are planning to come with you or join you later, we include the family reunification steps in the file from the very start.
After arrival
We also provide a checklist for the official procedures of the first week, such as address registration, the residence card appointment and tax / social insurance registration.
